Advances in Medical Research
Dr Melita Irving, (Guys Hospital, London), is working closely with BioMarin (Biotech company) in London and the USA, helping to monitor the latest clinical trials into a potential drug therapy treatment for Achondroplasia.
Whilst the Biomarin trials are positive and clearly show advances are being made with latest research findings into achondroplasia, we cannot rely solely on this to be successful. That is why Growing Stronger in the USA is committed to funding researchers who feel that they have developed the latest findings. We will fund pure medical research in the lab/hospitals and universities. We are not funding BioMarin and its current trials, however we will be watching the results closely and keeping you informed.
